What is an escape room?
An escape room is a live-action game. Your team have a set time to work through a series of challenges and achieve a certain goal, usually escaping the room. The games have been specifically designed to encourage teamwork and communication, through a number of puzzles and activities. They are accessible to a wide range of player with a variety of different skills and abilities.
Will I really be locked in?
You will never be truly locked in and we promise never to hold you captive.
There is an emergency exit in each room for your safety and your games master will be monitoring the game from another room.
Is it scary?
Some rooms may be scary, some may not, this very much depends on the theme of the room.

Is it a real bomb?
We really do get asked this!
Of course the answer is no.
How long does the experience last?
Your session includes a short briefing of up to 15 minutes prior to entering the room.
The game then lasts for up to 60 minutes.
Will I be in the room with strangers?
No, all of our games are private so will only include members of your group.
Do I need any special equipment or clothing?
Everything you need to escape will be right there in the room, so please don’t bring your own tools.
No special clothing is required.
Do I need to be athletic?
Escape Rooms are generally more of a mental workout than a physical one.
Although the games may include a few light tasks, they are not physically demanding.
Can I play if I'm pregnant?
Yes, see above.
Can I bring extra players?
Player limits are set for many reasons including: Health and safety, fire safety and insurance.
You will not be allowed more than the maximum capacity to enter the room.
Is it suitable for children?
Our escape rooms are family friendly and children are very welcome.
We will require one adult (18+) in the escape room for the duration of the game, where there are any children under 14 years old.
For children ages 14-15, we require one adult to stay on the premises.
16 – 17 year olds can play unaccompanied however, an adult over the age of 18 must make the booking.
Where is the venue?
Divergent Games is based in Falkirk, Scotland.
Falkirk is located close to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling and is home to the Kelpies, the Helix and the Falkirk Wheel.
You will find us at 104 Grahams Road (In the Megazone building).
